Changing Lives Through Education
Since its founding, A Better Chance of Ridgefield (RABC) strives to change the lives of young women through higher educational opportunities that will give them the tools to become innovators in their future careers and empower the lives of their communities.
Since 1987, fifty-four RABC Scholars have graduated from Ridgefield High School and have gone on to study at leading universities and colleges. Many of our alumnae have pursued advanced degrees in medical, technology, business and law schools.
From leading Fortune 500 companies to developing social impact changes in their home communities, our scholars have gone on to become respective productive individuals who help make the world a better place.
YEARS EDUCATING YOUTH
Since our launch, RABC has been giving motivated, outstanding minority youth, the opportunity to achieve their dreams through education.
YOUNG WOMEN GRADUATED
Since 1987, 54 RABC Scholars have graduated from Ridgefield High School and have gone on to major universities and colleges.
“RABC has bettered my life in so many ways; not only did it teach me how to handle rigorous academics and being away from home, but also gave me a second family to support me through it all.”
